Tom Davis for Fairfax County Board Chairman?
on April 13th, 2010 at 1:04 PMVery interesting if true. Several credible sources independently confirmed that Former Congressman Tom Davis may be interested in running for Chairman of the Fairfax County Board. Not sure why he would, seeing as he is making a 7 figure salary (or more).
However, this would make it easy for the GOP to win back control of the Board. Could have a HUGE coattails affect and bring more voters to help the new freshman Delegates in 2011 like Comstock and LeMunyon

are you stupid or just plain dumb? only an utter fool would trade someone with the experience and record of Tom Davis for someone that has been a county supervisor for barely 1 year. get off your RINO hunter pitty party and get with the game.
Davis was chairman of the house oversight committee in congress and he never oversaw anything. He was and is a total and complete waste. why would anyone even have this guy pump their gas?
Tom will never run against Sharon. If you think that will happen, you have no idea how the backrooms of Fairfax County work. Long ago, the Davis’s and Bulovas decided to look out for each other. Why else did neither Sharon or David Bulova lift a finger to help Chap Petersen? Why else would Connolly not have run for Congress if Davis chose reelection? Why else could all we come up with was Gary Baise for Chairman in 2007? Why else does David continue to go unchallenged in a delegate district we can win?
Boys, the fix is in when it comes to Davis and Bulova. If Tom Davis challenges Sharon Bulova for chairman, I’m a Yankees fan.

Seriously? Why on EARTH would she not run? She’s almost a shoo-in now that Herrity is running for Congress. No matter what of the three possible outcomes (Herrit wins everything, wins nomination but loses to Gerry, loses nomination) he’s now OUT. There simply is no strong Republican challenger unless someone could convince Stu Mendhleson to run.

its true…she hasn’t done an ounce of fundraising. she was a place older. rumor has it jeff mckay is gearing up for chairmans run. hence why davis is thinking about a run…no republican can do it. although he would have to keep his wife locked up for a few months lol…
