Be sure to mark your calenders! There is a special election in Arlington on Tuesday, September 4th. The election is to replace Delegate David Englin, in District 45.
Might be a good chance for a Republican to win. Although I do question the wisdom of a special election two months before a big general election. I’m all for separating local elections with national elections (I favor May town elections), but isn’t this a waste of taxpayer money? Shouldn’t this election just be held on November 6th?
