An article in American Action News made me laugh, linked here. The article reported that an expedition to study global warming was canceled because of too much ice. That is pretty solid comedy if only it weren’t true.
Ha! Ice, solid comedy, I slay me!
Remember back in 2007 when Al Gore won a Nobel Peace Prize for making a movie? He didn’t win a Nobel Prize for climatology or any field of science connected to the wrongly dubbed “climate change” that we hear sooooo much about. So how come all the prophecies made in Gore’s climate themed Nobel Peace Prize winning film have yet to come true? My favorite outrageous claim was that the land which houses the World Trade Center would be underwater and we would have lost Miami by now, both to raising ocean levels. But that hasn’t happened. And now NASA is saying that ice mass in the polar caps has increased since Gore went to Hollywood. Oh my.
For the millionth time; it’s called climate, not “climate change,” and it does not work on the same calendar humans use to chart our lives because the climate of the Earth is a massive, ever-changing, force of nature.
Anyways, the article in American Action News didn’t offer much other than the expedition was called off, but what was noteworthy was a comment below the article from a man named Ken Dunipace. He pulls back the curtain on the global warming “science” to oppose the climate alarmists for the frauds they are. His comment has been screen shot and pasted below in two pics, in order to fit it all (you can click on the pic for a larger version if the text is too small).

The Hill is reporting the latest he said she said bull involving President Obama’s very dishonest administration. A 13 year old critic of the president was blocked on Twitter, he has the screen shot, and then the White House lied about it.
Talk about consequential issues. Here we have the center of power in the free world blocking a 13 year old because he is not a starry-eyed fan of the king, I mean to say president. The big ‘so what’ here is the whole so what to begin with. Really, who cares? A 13 year old criticizing the president on Twitter is nothing. There are a lot of tragedies in the world, a lot of things that deserve priority. But the small things matter too. And Obama continues to fail the small things test. This is the latest. His administration blocked a kid on Twitter, so what? Then lied about it. They will lie about anything.
If it is such commonplace for this administration to lie about something so meaningless as this, then imagine the protocol for lying when they get caught with something serious, such as the Benghazi cover-up and the IRS scandal. And to think, Obama ran for president promising more transparency, more openness and more honesty. Cue Charlie Brown; “Good grief.”
“You can’t govern by yelling.” This was said on NBC’s Meet the Press this Sunday by New York Times columnist David Brooks in regards to Donald Trump’s perceived un-electability. I believe he meant that you can’t just be a bully to be President.
David Brooks said this as if it was a concrete rule; a rule that was never communicated to our current president, Barack Obama. Obama only governs by yelling. Obama is a bully. Rather than work with the legislative branch, Obama just tells them to do their job. So what is the job of the legislative branch? According to Obama, their job is to pass the budget that Obama wants without concessions or compromises; and for them to stop their efforts to repeal Obamacare. According to our Founders, the job of legislative branch is to be most powerful branch of government and to serve as a check against the power of the presidency. Their job is not to be a rubber stamp for the agenda of the great and powerful O. The power of the executive branch has surpassed that of the legislative. Our nation is now governed by the agenda of one man which occasionally is interrupted by the oligarchy of nine. Congress is now playing third fiddle.
However, I do not blame Obama. This did not just happen over the past six and a half years; instead the process of the evolving power of presidency started long ago. There have been many presidents who have contributed to the expanding powers of the presidency; such as Jackson, FDR, and even Bush 43. The federal government has expanded at an exponential rate since FDR’s New Deal. Entitlement programs and federal enforcement agencies are gargantuan. The role of the legislative branch has not been able to keep pace and is in danger of being left behind.
As a result, you can govern by yelling if you’re the President of the United States. Yelling is easier than compromising with a branch of government that is too weak to stop you anyways. This is why I am not surprised with the success of Trump’s campaign. Until we ask for a candidate that will reduce the power of the presidency to save our democracy, bullies are all we deserve.
The latest piece of evidence that President Barack Obama just doesn’t get it has arrived tonight via Twitter. In Alaska, the president points out that he wishes he could spend more time there but then blames Congress for having to work. He can’t just say he needs to get back to work, but instead he acts like a parent who needs to get back to kids who are home alone.
When President George W. Bush took his entire cabinet to Crawford the liberal mainstream media would call it a vacation. When Obama runs up his expense account by traveling to give stump speeches before jetting home there is no story. When he spends more time on the golf course than Arnold Palmer there is no story about how he doesn’t put in the hours at the office. When he talks about watching Sportscenter everyday there is no story about his lack of a serious work ethic. Now, the president is acting like he runs the show on Capitol Hill. He even compares himself to another president as though we are to believe that he is more committed to the job than his predecessors.
Yeah, right. He just doesn’t get it.
One of President Obamas chief cheerleaders, David Axelrod, has said that Obamas administration has not had any major scandals. This, of course, is a wishful re-write of the last 6 years.
Axelrods comments were in regards to pay-for-play type scandals such as big money directly buying influence in the White House. Eh. Theres no need to touch that right now. The big picture is more important and the big picture includes two HUGE scandals that seriously expose the lack of decency we have to put up with.
The first one is the IRS targeting conservative organizations. This scandal is classic Rahm Emanuel style politics. Emanuel, who is the current boss of Chicago, was Obamas first White House chief of staff. He believes in a partisan scorched Earth method of disrespect for his opponents. The White House has pleaded total ignorance in this scandal, but the whole thing has Emanuel written all over it. The timeline from the investigation clearly shows that Emanuel wasnt still around when the IRS was acting on their own, which is bull. The White House, Emanuel and their friends went after conservatives with everything in their arsenal. The story about the lost emails that incredibly disappeared is an insult to our intelligence. Time will further expose the truth. The White House knew. Complete ignorance is not a good enough answer.
The other major scandal is much more important and the president and his team need to be held accountable for it. On September 11, 2012 a terrorist attack invaded our Embassy in Benghazi, Libya. Obamas White House and Hillarys State Department did not do enough to protect our diplomats in advance of this terror attack and then they worked together to cover up their incompetence. You see, the timing of this terror attack was, in a term Im sure was expressed at the White House, inconvenient. Obama was running for re-election on the idea that he had made the world a safer place. Obama was stumping that he had ended the war in Iraq. He was the opposite of George Bush. Obama had won a Nobel Peace Prize. The world was safe again. End of narrative. But then came an assault on one of our Embassies overseas which resulted in the murder and mutilation of our Ambassador Chris Stevens. How could this be? Obamas world is a safe place because Obama is so super likeable, right? A cleanup job was needed by the White House janitorial spin staff. The result was Susan Rice hitting the Sunday morning talk shows hard with the lie that an otherwise peaceful protest was then hijacked, let us say, by some individual clusters of extremists who came with heavier weapons
And it then evolved from there. There are so many things wrong with that statement. And from what I understand about Susan Rice, those words were her own. She is not the kind of person who would take a script and just read the talking points. She was part of the massage session that came up with those lies, lies which were used to shield the president during his re-election. That is truly disturbing. And what is even more disturbing is that Obama won re-election and Rices lies were rewarded with a promotion. Unbelievable.
So here we have two scandals, one much more important than the other, but two nonetheless. Especially the Benghazi cover up is a scandal that exposes just how repugnant the character of our current chief executive really is. David Axelrod is wrong. Ethics of the Obama White House is far from pristine; its as dirty as it could be.
Bishop E.W. Jackson responded to President Obama’s ridiculous history lesson from the National Prayer Breakfast with this gem of a quote;
“Instead of closing Guantanamo Bay, frankly sir you ought to close your mouth.”
That’s what we call knocking the ball out of the park.
Obama’s speech, which compared today’s violence from Islamic radicals to the Crusades from centuries ago, is hopelessly irrelevant to today. History is full of atrocities that mankind has marched through. How about a contemporary comparison? Are there any Christians out there beheading Muslims? What’s that? No? Huh.
Attacking Christianity at the National Prayer Breakfast is beyond baffling. Mr. President, what is wrong with you?
“This is American leadership at its best.” –President Obama
After many submissions and great thought we have to acknowledge President Obama for offering up the quote of the year. During a primetime speech the president explained his plan for handling the violence in Syria. After laying out his plan he said, “This is American leadership at its best.” So to recap, President Obama told us his plan and then critiqued his own plan as “American leadership at its best.” Unreal. The arrogance it must take to say something like that is difficult to comprehend. Modesty has no quarter at the Obama White House. Of course, America and the rest of the world clearly disagrees with Obama’s self-assessment that his leadership places him in the company of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and others. Let’s try a little harder in the leadership area next year Mr. President and please refrain from instant compliments from you to yourself.
