During this last election cycle I used this blog to attack the ever interesting and insane Will Radle as well as promote my friends who were on the ballot, and I had a great time doing it. Now it’s time to get back to serious business (and no Will Radle is not serious business). The priority this time around is to make sure Virginia returns to the red column and that we elect George Allen back to the Senate. My opinion is that he is the best person, and the only person in the field that is capable of winning. Comes down to name ID and fundraising ability and Gov Allen has both of those things. We also have to fight the Obama machine next year the Democrats already have boots on the ground and have mobilized its time that GOP goes after their on base the same way the Democrats do….it’s all about turnout and the Dems have been kicking our ass in that aspect…it’s our turn, and in Fairfax Jay McConville who is running to take over for Anthony Bedell as Chairman has the motivation and the foresight to make it happen!!
As for the future 2013 is always starting to shape up pretty nicely, and if what I’m hearing is correct our great Atty General Ken Cuccinelli is looking at a run for the Gov. Mansion, to that I say I am absolutely 100 percent behind him. Many have said its bad for the party to have a primary between Ken Cuccinelli and Bill Bolling..I say Bolling had his chance against Our Gov but decided not to go for it..It’s time for our Atty General to throw his hat in the ring, and for the Republican Party of Virginia to rally behind him. 2013 will also be interesting with Delegate races with Gov. Nominee on the top of the ticket will we see the same delegate candidates again in two years or will we see some new ones ( I heard a rumor that I was running) I’d like for us to field Candidates that don’t fir the stereotype of the Republican party. We did a great job of that this year on our school board races…let’s send some minority candidates to Richmond; let’s send the message to Democrats that their fake hold on minorities end here in Virginia!!
